The secondary clutch is a true "tied-type" design, upgrading from the BOSS-style clutch that originally came on all 2016-2023 RZR 1000 S / XP models. It comes with the helix and spring pre-installed, featuring round rollers instead of square pucks, which enhance durability and smoothness.
